Mission Statement of Saint Gabriel's System
Saint Gabriel's System, a Division of Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, is rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and is conducted in the spirit of Saint John Baptist de La Salle.
Saint Gabriel's provides quality treatment services for delinquent youth to assist them in becoming responsible, competent, productive members of the community, through education, social work, youth care, clinical services and support services.

Historical Mission Statement
The object of the corporation is to found and maintain an institution for the protection and training of boys, wherein they may receive a proper education and be instructed in the useful arts and handicrafts. To the extent of its capacity, the said institution shall be open for the admission of boys who may stand in need of protection and training. No boy shall be excluded from the institution, nor shall any inmate be discriminated against, on account of race, color, or creed.
